Good News Week!

I was dreading this week because of classes starting up again, but it's actually been a great week! Classes, so far, are interesting and seem like they're going to be quite a bit less stressful than my previous semesters.

I found out I passed my teaching exam today, so that was a huge load off! Whether I end up teaching or not, it's great to have the option there.

Plus, I decided that I'll probably continue on with my education after I finish my school psych master's and go for my LPC master's as well (Licensed Professional Counselor). That would give me the option of having my own private practice which could be nice during my summers off to earn extra money. So, all in all, it's been a very encouraging week. :-)

Backyard Camp out

Wrapping up our staycation was a backyard camp out. We had fun figuring out the tent. Caleb hammered in all the stakes and really helped a lot. It's been such a great week! Unfortunately, it's back to school for me on Monday.

Frontier City!

Today was Frontier City day as our "stay"cation continued, and it was so much fun! The park was not crowded at all so we hardly had to wait in any lines. Caleb's favorite ride was the log ride.

"Look ma! No hands!"

Fearless as usual.....

Dancing with the blue frog he won.
Caleb and Colin watching the Wild West Show. It was awesome, and Caleb loved the gun fights and explosions.

Staycation

Saturday was the official start of what I've been calling my "stay"cation with Caleb. I've been planning out quite a bit of fun stuff for us to do here in town as opposed to traveling to Florida with the rest of the family. Florida would've been fun, but I'm trying to save money, and honestly, it's kinda nice having the place all to ourselves.

So far, we've done the Oklahoma Science Museum, which is always fantastic. The next day we did a hotel stay downtown. The hotel had this awesome indoor kids water park, so I invited our friends to come along too. The view from the hotel room was amazing, and it literally looked right over the baseball field. Caleb loved that. We did dinner and ice cream downtown, followed by a boat ride through the Oklahoma canal. Caleb and I had so much fun in the hotel room jumping on the beds, eating snacks, and working on puzzles. We went to the pool again before bedtime, so by the time we got back to the room he was beat! He slept in till after 9, so I was a happy camper. Speaking of which, I bought a tent for a camp out, which is also on my staycation list for this week. Frontier City is coming up soon too. The fun never stops! :-)
