Hello All! :-)

Just finished up my third counseling session with my undergrad client yesterday, and it felt really good! He's really opening up with me and coming out of his shell, so I'm feeling like I'm doing something right. Maybe I'd be a good counselor after all.

I booked a plane ticket tonight to go see my best friend, Jessica, after this semester is over. I can't believe the deal I got online! Prices are crazy low. It's been way too long since I've seen her, and I can't wait to get my Jessica fix. :-) We were talking the other day and couldn't believe that we've been best friends for over 20 years now. I know it's a cliche, but time really does go by so fast.

We survived a bought of the swine flu a couple weeks ago, but it wasn't as big a deal as the media has made it out to be. Pretty much everyone in the family got it except for crappa and auntie Lainee.

Caleb's great and changing every day. I've been working on reading with him and it's seeming like things are starting to click a little bit more. What seems to have worked is spelling out funny words. "Poop" is his favorite and makes us laugh every time. I love hearing him say "P O O P." It's so cute I can hardly stand it. We had a fun playdate with all his gymnastics girlfriends today. He's still really enjoying gymnastics, so I'm going to keep him in it for awhile then maybe give T-ball a try. The kid can hit a ball! Hard! I've got the bruises to prove it. I'm looking into buying a pitching machine so I can get out of harms way.

Rowing Competition

We had our rowing competition Sunday and made it into the grand finals. We took third, which was great! Oh, and now it turns out that the winning team was disqualified due to having too many men on their team, so we ended up getting the silver. Yay!

Keep the volume low on these videos. Caleb was seriously screaming at the top of his lungs.
